Multi Factor Authentication

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security mechanism that enhances the protection of accounts and systems by requiring users to verify their identity using two or more independent factors. These factors fall into distinct categories to ensure better security than traditional single-factor authentication, such as passwords.

How to Activate 

To activate MFA you first need to go to:

Menu > Settings > Global Settings > Details >

You now need to add in mobile numbers for each user. Menu > Security > Users > Open User > Add Mobile. 

Once a non admin user tries to log into their app, a message will appear that will as them to send a code to their mobile phone. 

A code will be sent to the phone number, enter it here and authenticate to log on.

Once entered you will be logged into SalonIQ and authenticated for 8hrs.
