Mobile Notifications

This article will show you how to create mobile notifications.

Utilise push notifications to alert your team when their clients check in, eliminating the need to linger around the reception desk to monitor client arrivals. Please note that this feature is currently exclusively available for iOS devices.

 

Menu > Settings > Online > Hub Notifications

  • Check - In Mobile Notifications toggle - Select toggle to green to active your notifications
  • User - This will list all your team member users who have logged in to the SalonIQ hub app from their mobile phone.
  • Notifications - The team member will need to turn the toggle on for their notifications on their SalonIQ app. To do this, load the SalonIQ app from their mobile phone and enable to notifications toggle on the log in page.
  • Salon - If you have multiple salons this will show you the salon that the team member works from.
  • Text Back Notification  - If you have 2 way SMS set up, you can select each team member to receive replies if a client responses to the SMS.
  • Online Bookings - When an online booking is made for a team member, provided they're logged into their mobile app and linked to the user, they'll now receive notifications about the booking.

The notification is then sent instantly to the teams mobile device. When the team member clicks on the notification, it will load the link that has been included. They will also receive the same notification once a client checks in.

Notifications will only work when the team member has logged into the SalonIQ app within a 10 hour period. Best practice would be to ask all team members to log in from their mobile phones each morning.
