This guide will gives a Q&A regarding SalonIQ's Online Shop

    below are a series of questions regarding SalonIQ's online shop. 

    Does the team member get the product under their number forever?

    A. Yes they will for up to 12 months from the products being added

     

      Which team member will get the product?

      A. The last team member who added the product will get the product under their name

       

      When a client is purchasing the recommended products, does the team member also get any additional products that are added at checkout even though they didn’t recommend them?

      A. No, the team member will only get the products they recommend, the rest will go under as OTC

       

      How will I know a product has been purchased online?

       A. You will receive an email confirmation with details of the products purchased

       

      What products do I sell online?

      A. We recommend you sell your top 20 products online

       

      Can I mark the order as ‘shipped’?

      A. Yes go to main Menu > Settings > Online > Shop 

       

      Who sends my orders?

      A. You fulfil the order. You would receive the order and then send the products out yourself.

       

      Can my supplier send the order for me?

      A. This is the second phase of our e-commerce project, an order will be placed, you will get confirmation of the order and so will your supplier who will send the products on your behalf and update the order status. 

       

      Will the client get confirmation of the order?

      A. Yes your clients will get an email with confirmation of their order and payment

       

        Can my client send the products as a gift?

        A. Yes the delivery address can be different to the billing address, this is done at time of purchase.

         

        What happens if my client wants to return a product?

        A. This is as your discretion. Some may recommend all products to be returned unopened and unused to the salon in person for a full refund or in exchange for an alternate product. Refund the client via Stripe and at checkout on SalonIQ as normal.

         

          How do I get my shop on my website?

          A. Copy and paste your shop link onto a ‘button’ on your website - this will be down to your web designer to do for you.

           

            How do I add images of my products to my shop?


            A. You don’t need to, we do all of this for you ensuring the products look professional and are of the right size.

             

            How do I write the description of the product?

            A. You don’t, we do this for you through the barcode search when activating your product to be sold online. 

             

              How much should I charge for shipping?

              A. We recommend a set fee for one or multiple products to keep it easy and simple for your clients to understand.

               

                How do I advertise my shop?

                A. Once your shop is all setup we advise you to send an e-blast to your clients that have visited you in the last 12 months with a link for them to buy. Plus add posts to your social media platforms with a link to your shop. 

                 

                You could also create a free QR code and add this to your salon window, this can take anyone who scans the QR code directly to your online shop for them to make a purchase. 

                 

                  Where does the postage and shipping show on SalonIQ?

                  A. As you are setting up ‘postage and shipping’ as a service it will show on its own under OTC and therefore not show under the team members name. Main menu > Settings > Online > Shop

                   

                    What email address will the order confirmations go to?

                    A. These will go to your chosen email address. Main menu > Settings > Online > Shop

                     

                      Can I have my own terms and conditions?

                      A. Yes you create your own in your shop setup. Main menu > Settings > Online > Shop > enter Terms and conditions > click Save

                       

                        Will my stock levels adjust each time a product is sold?

                        A. Yes it will, each time a product is sold your 'on hand levels' will reduce by the quantity sold

                         

                        If my 'on hand' level is showing 0 or -2 for a product will the product still be available to purchase online?

                        A. Yes it will. If you want to stop selling the product in your online shop you will need to deactivate the product in SalonIQ. Main menu > Settings > Products > Sell online (Switch to red = off)
