Year on Year Report

Compare the sales performance of the salon & individual team members over 2 years, a great tool for highlighting growth, seasonal fluctuations, and successful marketing campaigns

To Access the report go to Menu > Reports > Salon > Year on-Year Comparison

The report compares the current year with the same period in the previous year. 

To run the report select To Date, and enter the end date for the period you are comparing.

Example - To Date 31/12/2024 - Compares the whole of 2024 to 2023

Example - To Date 30/11/2024 - Compares Dec 23 - Nov 24 to Dec 2022 - Nov 2023

You can choose to compare the figures Monthly, Four Weekly, or Weekly

By default, the salon figures will be displayed, you can select individual team members to compare an individual year-on-year performance.

The figures can be displayed for the salon and individual team members including or excluding VAT

What is included in the report

The example report shows a year-on-year comparison for the whole salon comparing 2024 to 2023, the highlighted box shows service sales monthly in 2023. Each month is displayed with the YTD figure accumulating over the full year. 

The next part of the report looks at service sales figures for 2024, monthly figures are shown and the YTD figure is accumulated over the full year.

Two percentage figures are displayed, the first percentage on the left shows the percentage increase or decrease in the calendar month, any percentages highlighted in Red indicate that the service income decreased from the same month the year before.

The second percentage shows YTD percentages calculated over the year, the example above shows service income increased year on year in 2024 by 4.3%

The report also shows a year-on-year comparison of retail

And a total for services and retail across the year
